1917-07-14: Davidson OK in RE8, A-3254; aircraft badly damaged by enemy aircraft while on artillery patrol at the West End of Bains. His observer-gunner, 2Lt Basil Farmer, British, also OK. 1917-09-09: Davidson died in RE-8, A-3597;when he was shot down in flames by enemy aircraft on artillery observation in front of the Belgian lines. His observer was also killed.
