1916-10-24: Eckardt received his RAeC certificate No. 3823. from the Curtiss School in Toronto. He was sent to Egypt where he received additional instruction at 22RS, 23RS and 57RS before being posted to 17 Sqn, Salonika for duty. He also served with 47 Sqn and 150 Sqn in Salonika before being ordered back to England. On 1918-06-16 he took ship to Egypt from Salonika. He does not appear again in the war record.
