Wilkinson DoW as a PoW after being shot down in A-8903, SE5; last seen after combat with an enemy aircraft very low over Polygon Wood, on an offensive patrol. Wilkinson was shot down and wounded on the 17 of August. He died of his wounds on August 26, 9 days later, as a PoW.
