on 20 April 1959, coded "855".
To Timmins Aviation at Dorval, PQ for overhaul on 10 May 1960. To VC 920 Squadron at HMCS York (Downsview,
Ontario) on 16 September 1960. To
inactive reserve with No. 6 Repair Depot at Dunnsville, Ontario on 17 January
1964. Assigned to Air Transport
Command on 22 July 1964, for use by Air Force Headquarters Flying Training
Unit at RCAF Station Uplands, Ontario.
Delivered to Uplands on 26 August 1964. To inactive reserve with No. 1005 Technical
Storage Detachment at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on 24 January 1966. Pending disposal there from 7 April
1967. Sold to G. Nelson of Dinsmore,
Saskatchewan, reported stored outdoors until 1990s. Purchased by Sunwest Aviation of Calgary,
Alberta, fully restored. Registered as
C-GSWS on 29 April 1997. Has won
several restoration awards. Sold to
1173829 Alberta Limited of Calgary on 15 March 2006. |
