possibly No. 35 EFTS (RAF), Neepawa, Manitoba. After 700 hours flying service was sent to
M&C Aviation, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, on 13 August 1943 for
overhaul, returning to No. 2 TC on 28 September 1943. Logged another 541 hours. Probably then served at 35 EFTS/26 EFTS
until retired from service. Had
1241:35 airframe time when struck off.
Sold on 2 November 1945 to Royal Canadian Flying Club Association, to civil register as CF-COI. Several subsequent owners, stored outside
and badly deteriorated by 1989. Sold
April 1989, restoration started in Canada, registration C-FFCL allocated, but
withdrawn by 1992. Sold, to American
register as N820DH in 1998.
Restoration completed, first flight at Palm Springs, California on 29
April 2000. Registration cancelled on
17 June 2005. |
