Helicopter with this registration reported destroyed by
fire after autorotation landing resulting in roll over in December 1973
near Queets, Washington. Subsequent
history of this registration quotes same company number.
Hiller with this registration and company number being
used in logging operation in Washington state when logger was injured
by walking into tail rotor of idling helicopter on 7 January 1981,near
Beaver, Washington. Converted to Soloy
turbine engine configuration by 1987, owned by Olympic Air. Destroyed on 28 May 1987, during positioning
flight after commercial passenger operation. Main
rotor departed airframe during flight in turbulence near Shelton,
Washington, mast bumping suspected. Lone
occupant killed. This registration
cancelled on 17 April 1998. Reported owned
by M.E. Schaper of Porterville, California from 25 May 1995. |
