Transferred to Canadian Forces on 28 January 1972. Operated by the Canadian Forces Airborne
Sensing Unit at Ottawa. from Back to
Department of E, M, and R when struck off, as C-GRSD-X, later C-GRSD. Briefly registered as C-GRSD to Innotech
Aviaiton of Dorval, PQ in 1986, possibly for updates to airborne sensor
systems. Registration to Federal
Government cancelled on 15 May 1987.
Owned by KnightHawk Air Express of Glocester, Ontario from 27
September 1994, based at Ottawa International air port. Retained belly camera hatches, but used for
express freight. Mostly operated
between Hamilton and Ottawa, under contract to Purolator Courier. Latest Certificate of Registration issued
on 16 November 2004. This operator
shut down in 2005, and the aircraft was reported derelict in western Canada
shortly after. Also reported as
C-GWPB, but no record in Transport Canada database. (This may be a fake registration, typical
of those used on training aids at BC Technical Institute.) |
